PADANG GALAK - THE BALI KITE FESTIVAL

Date of event: Until late September 2025 (weather dependent)

Every year between July and September, Padang Galak Beach becomes the stage for one of Bali’s most spectacular cultural traditions, the Bali Kite Festival. Teams from villages across the island gather here to fly massive, hand-crafted kites shaped like fish, birds, and leaves. Each launch is accompanied by the sound of gamelan music and cheers from the crowd.

For our guests, the best part is proximity, you can simply stroll down from The Village Home and find yourself amidst the excitement. Whether you’re capturing photos of the giant kites against the blue sky or mingling with the locals, it’s an unforgettable way to connect with Bali’s culture, right at our doorstep.

SANUR VILLAGE FESTIVAL

Date of event: around October 2025

Sanur is known for its creative energy, and the Sanur Village Festival is the heartbeat of that spirit. Each October, the festival comes alive at Mertasari Beach, where visitors can enjoy a colorful mix of culinary bazaars, art exhibitions, live music, and traditional performances.

Beyond the main event, October is also a wonderful time to explore Sanur’s beachfront. The festive atmosphere lingers on with vibrant decorations, local warungs serving special dishes, and music drifting from seaside cafés.

For those staying with us, it’s the perfect chance to experience Sanur beyond the guidebooks—slower, more intimate, and filled with genuine community warmth.
